I think I want to end there, on a point of agreement.

Two Frankfurt School references: 'The Genesis of Stupidity' at the end
of 'Dialectic of Enlightenment' and the piece in 'Minima Moralia' which
I cannot find, about not wanting to be right in an argument. (I would be
very grateful if someone could tell me the page number.) These are not
quotations of authority, just more things to think about.
