Does not "invective-free" imply affirmative? Perhaps
those worried about invective should be on the
Habermas listserv - I understand that there they are
working towards a great, back-patting communicative
utopia free of controversy, offence and invective.
Gelder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, I notice you have a job in
the academy. Is this fact at all related to your
disapproval of activity outside of that counternanced
by academia? In a world where reality is at fault,
offence to reality is the only way forward.
