Dear Colleagues,

I just heard that Steve Shuklian of Marshall College died some time last Fall 2003. If this is true then we have all lost a good heterodox colleague. He engaged in work in heterodox economics, supported colleagues by coming to conferences and listening to their papers, and promoted heterodox economics at his College even under some rather hard circumstances. I certainly enjoyed his company at conferences. I will miss him.
