Will George Ask Congress to Guarantee Arnold the Money?
Will George Ask Congress to Guarantee Arnold the Money?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have a vision of Dean and Edwards running against Bush
and Rice.
Arnold will have earlier asked Bush to ask Congress
to guarantee California bonds for education and vital
upgrades of nationally strategic infrastructure.
My vision stopped short of the President's and Congress'
response.
Flash forward to the election: If federal action has rescued
the sates, and consequently the whole economy, I'll vote
Republican -- to keep the President's foreign and economic
policies from being curtailed by know-nothing, anti-defense
Democrats.
If, on the other hand, the President's foreign policy is
destroyed by his compelling the states to raise taxes, and
to fail to improve education and infrastructure -- I'll vote
for a Democrat -- to keep the nation from repeating the
mistakes of Herbert Hoover.
