Sidney Weintraub and I wrote an article in THE ECONOMIC JOURNAL(1973)
entitled "Money Cause or Effect" in which we argued that the money supply
could be --and normally would be -- endogenous. Also I had a similar argument
in the 1968 ECONOMETRICA volume --which was written as a criticism of Tobin's
anal;ysis..
