FYI
HETERODOX SEMINARS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA
Research On Banking International and National Systems Or Networks
We are very happy to announce that we are starting a series of seminars as
an activity of our informal research group, ROBINSON [Research On Banking
International and National Systems Or Networks]. These workshops will be
held at the University of Ottawa and they will focus on matters relating to
monetary economics (financial flows, banks, money, credit, financial
institutions, monetary macroeconomics, monetary policy).
The first workshop will be held on Friday the 14th of February, and we
shall organize three more workshops during the rest of the 2002-2003 academic
year. These will be held the second Friday of the month. In addition, we
shall organize a seminar/conference on the monetary aspects of
Post-Keynesian theory in September 2003.
Presentations will be sometimes in French, sometimes in English, as you
will see in the program shown below. During the question period,
participants can use the language of their choice, English or French.
Normally, the paper to be presented at the workshop will be sent to you, a
few days in advance, by email.
All seminars, unless announced otherwise, will be held at the Department of
Economics, University of Ottawa, 200 Wilbrod St. (between Cumberland St.
and King Edward Ave.), room 108. The worshops will last from 2:30 to 4:00
p.m.
The program will be updated on the ROBINSON web site:
http://aix1.uottawa.ca/~robinson/
Looking forward to seeing you at the workshops!
