Re: The Falling Value Of The Dollar
With the value of the dollar falling in relation to the euro in
particular (if I've read recent posts correctly) would this result in
global economies being less "subservient" to U. S. interests?
I don't wish to have the list return to a discussion of the probable U.
S.-British war on Iraq UNLESS the pkt subject of economics is the main
theme.
I've read (Reuters News Agency) that the U. S. has offered Turkey $14
billion in aid to use its bases for a possible war with Iraq. From a
srictly PKT Economic standpoint would this be sufficient incentive for
Turkey or any European country to approve of U. S. arguements that a
war with Iraq is necessary?.
Since I am not an academically trained economist please excuse my not
wording my question in a better manner.
