Job Opening: Economic Thought and Methodology



B0 Schools of Economic Thought and Methodology

The Department of Economics at Colorado State University has a position
open at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning August 15,
2003. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in economics and be able to teach
graduate political economy and some of the following courses: history of
economic thought, Marxist economics, gender, and/or comparative
economics in addition to principles. Candidates must show evidence of
potential for distinguished teaching, and significant scholarly research
and publication. Appointment at the Associate level requires an
established reputation in the field. Research and teaching interest in
heterodox and/or feminist methodologies is desirable.

For maximum consideration, send cover letter and vita by November 1,
2002; however, applications will be accepted until the position is
filled. This is an "open search": once the search committee has
identified semi-finalists, departmental faculty will have access to
those candidate files.
