undergraduate-level reference request
Dear colleagues,
An undergraduate student of mine is planning to work on a project on wage
and price flexibility as a solution to unemployment. I have worked on this
issue myself and am familiar with several references, but I would be
grateful for suggestions of articles, book chapters, textbooks, etc that
deal with this issue *in a way that is accessible to a clever undergraduate
beginning his 3rd year*. Both neoclassical and Post Keynesian references
are welcome.
In terms of neoclassical intermediate macro textbooks, most of the ones I
have seen focus on the Keynes effect. Gordon seems to be an exception. Are
there others (discussing, for example, the real balance effect)?
Among the Post Keynesian textbooks, I recall that Davidson's PKMT and
Chick's 1983 book do address the topic.
I believe these references will be of interest to the list, but please
respond to me privately if you think it more appropriate. Many thanks in
advance.
Cheers,
David Dequech
