Your comment is interesting. So, from the way that you worded that, I can
gather that the US [et. al.] has bequeathed something to Argentina in
allowing it to tie the Peso to the Dollar. Granted, there is the value of
the dollar, but maybe I am missing the point. I would think that in order
for Argentina to sustain the value of the peso relative to the Dollar,
Argentina would need to reform its institutions to achieve a more formal
economy. The level of persons paying tax in their country is absurdly low.
My position maybe construed as rather elitist, but I can think of no other
solution than implementation of Western Free Market Institutions with a
fiscally strong Government.
