I am new to the list
Hello,
My name is Tom Volscho, I am a senior studying Sociology at the Univ. of Connecticut. My honor's thesis is an empirical study of the effect of the state minimum wage on family income inequality in the U.S. states.
I am trying to learn about Post-Keynesian economics. I am reading Galbraith (1998) and want to learn more about this interesting economic theory. According to a friend who majors in Economics, a lot of the professors and seemingly the profession itself, says the theory or paradigm is "dead" and that neoclassical is the way to go.
Can anyone point me towards some other literature in Post-Keynesian economics? I am especially interested in income distribution-empirical or theoretical literature is fine.
Thanks,
Tom Volscho
