Re: books for Labor Economics

Nancy:  I don't know squat about labor economics, but I have used the adelba, pinto, et al book for other courses and it would probably be a good supplement for labor economics.  I would like to nominate Mayo to serve on the afit board.  Why don't you try to twist his arm? He would be a good, conscientious board member.  PS: there are about a zillion students in econ 410, money and banking (actually somewhere in the low 20's), which I guess is good, but means a lot of work for me.  Sigh.  Do you think you would have any other courses for me to teach this year?  I would prefer a principles course, evenings, in the spring.  Are you going to Atlanta?  I am.  Chris

Subject: books for Labor Economics

Hi,
This coming winter I'm teaching a course in Labor Economics for the first time.  I would appreciate any suggestions that folks have about books that you have used in such a course, or books that you would consider using if you taught Labor.
Thanks,
Nancy
