Re: A Great Speech Well Delivered

For the most part I approved of the speech. However even though the
president said America's dispute is with the Taliban regime, his words
have done nothing to allay the fears of the people of Afghanistan and
people around the world who have family and friends in Afghanistan.

I heard on the news today that all the neighboring countries around
Afghanistan have closed their borders. Given the harsh
economic conditions already present in Afghanistan are innocent
people going to starve to death as a result?

Is this outcome acceptable to the American people? Also, whether they intend
to or not I hope the American people realize they are terrorizing
all the people of Afghanistan with their saber rattling.
