When I went from California to France for a year, back in the 70's, I was
surprised at how expensive fresh food was. Have things changed that much?
If so, how much depended on fluctuations in exchange rates? In other
words, are you saying that food is cheaper relative to other items in
Europe? I would agree in the case of gasoline.
