Dear Colleagues, I would like to organise with Carlo Panico two sessions of the the Conference on "Old and New Growth Theories: An Assessment" to be held in Pisa (Italy) during the 5-7 october, 2001. The topic of the first session is 'The role of effective demand in Keynesian models of growth' The topic of the second section is 'The Keynesian heritage to growth theory: historical reconstructions' I believe the topics of these sessions would be of great interest to the members of pkt. Unfortunately, we have got a very tight schedule. The submission of a 1-2 page abstract should be sent by e-mail to <nerisal@xxxxxxxxxxx> or to <commenda@xxxxxxxx> or to panico@xxxxxxxx , in pdf or in word format, within June 30, 2001. You will receive notification of acceptance within July 30, 2001. The whole papers are to be sent by email within August 30, 2001. In order to make it possible the organization of these sections on Keynesian theories of growth, please give an answer asap, diffusing as much as possible this e-mail among other post Keynesian collegues and PhD students.
