I generally do you the courtesy of quoting from your posts to indicate
what I am responding to. I'd appreciate the same courtesy, since I
often have no clue what you believe you are responding to. I see no
conflict between the content of Harrison's article and things I have
actually said. Am I supposed to be amazed that China has proved slow
to kill the goose that is laying golden eggs, especially so soon after
promising not to do so for 50 years?
I am no more surpised by Harrison's comments that China is slow
to interfere with HK economically than by her comments that it
it has been quick to interfere with academic freedom.
Which reminds me: will you ever come clean on the domestic
repression issue?
