Re: Re. Ontological Uncertainty

Dear Gunnar,

I can't answer your question (c) because I either don't share your premise (a) when it comes to the social world or (considering that my knowledge of theoretical physics is superficial) at least am not aware that I do.

David Dequech

Considering

(a) that the starting point in our "study of the nature of reality" is the axiomatic constructs of theoretical physics; and

(b) that, as I suggested in an earlier message, the "validity" of such constructs is defined with respect to some given set of axiomatic premises; must it not be concluded

(c) that "ontological uncertainty" is euphemism for our irremediable ignorance "of the nature of reality"?
