I think the best we can hope for is 2 years of filibusters in the Senate,
and then a big victory in November 2002. Maybe Al will be angry
enough to lead a populist movement to kick the royalists out of office,
in the same way Andrew Jackson did after the Corrupt Bargain of 1824.
