teaching Monetary Economics

Dear colleagues,

In a few weeks I'll start a Monetary Economics course for third-year
undergraduate students.
I'm preparing the syllabus and would appreciate suggestions of papers and
book chapters that you find useful for teaching undergrads both the
neoclassical and the Post Keynesian views on issues like:
- the definition and functions of money;
- the demand for money;
- the supply of money;
- the determination of the interest rate;
- the transmission mechanism;
- monetary policy;
- other issues that you think should be included.

Please respond to me in private (unless, of course, Ric or somebody else
asks you to share your suggestions with the whole list).
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers,
David Dequech
