Since you are the one making the odd claim,
don't you think the burden of proof falls on you?
In any case, are you at least granting that
no reasonable understanding of the basis for
Samuelson's award would have it rest
on the correspondence principle?
And that without the correspondence principle,
there would have been no difficulty in justifying
the prize?

PS The only ``official'' press release I know of is
the one I cited (i.e., the text of Lindbeck's speech).
