RE: Conflict of Interest
It was revealed the other week that the Reserve Bank of Australia offer
their employees mortgage loans at discounted rates ('in line with other
COMMERCIAL banking institutions' was their excuse). Now there's a good way
to insulate yourself from your own policy.

Subject: Conflict of Interest
The WSJ reported today that to avoid possible conflict of interest,
Greenspan's wealth is invested largely in short term Treasury bills. He
is the same man who raised short term rate 5 times in 9 months and is
about to raise it another .5% next week. That is a strange way to avoid
any conflict of interest.
