General Theory Seminar
Pkters,
I've decided to put off our discussion of the General Theory until August
18th. The primary reason is that I will be traveling quite a bit between now
and then, and I would like to have the discussion moderated which means I
need to be on line every day during the discussion. Again, the moderation
will not focus on content but on any type of flamed message and to make sure
the discussion stays on the subject of the General Theory. The discussion
will take place on the pkt-seminars list. If you are not on the list, you can
sub now and will not receive any messages until the seminar begins. To sub
send a message to: listproc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
In the body of the message type: sub pkt-seminars YourName.
Also, beginning in the fall pkt will be a more moderated list following the
guidelines I mentioned earlier. Many people have left pkt because of flamed
messages or receiving messages that have nothing to do with the discussion.
I'm determined to bring these people back.
Also, if you have not recently checked out the pkt homepage I'm starting to
add some more information.( http://csf.colorado.edu/pkt/) Under the heading
information about post Keynesian economics I have a directory of addresses of
Post Keynesianians where I'm providing links to their homepages. If you would
like to have your address added to this list let me know. Also there is an
obituary directory with information about their professional contributions
for post Keynesian and heterodox economists. There is a link to Jamie
Galbraith's archives and a link to Paul Davidson's homepage where you can get
a selection of his papers. Let me know how I can improve the pkt home page,
and keep on reading the General Theory!
