It may be the year 2098 before PK thought is accepted. Hell may
by then be frozen over or Antartica warmed into Tennessee.

In the meantime, it behooves all the PK horses to use every
opportunity to challenge wrong thinking. Letters to editors, well
written, are accepted more often than not.

A few words of advise (it's free):

Attacking does NOT work. It only strengthens defenses.

"We are not to shock them by rudely affirming what
we are satisfied is disagreeable, but are to
conceal our design, and beginning at a distance,
bring them slowly on to the main point and having
gained the more remote ones we get the nearer
     ones of consequence." Adam Smith

Perhaps we can find hope in the new Nobel Prize
for literature. Who will write the great American
  economic satire?
