Forced saving in lieu of income tax
It was said that forced saving was an effort to
control the individual consumer. My programs
have removed taxes from the consumer -- which
is a removal of control. Where inflation would
steal individual consumers' money, I recommend
forced saving. This enhances consumer control
to the extent that it is possible. The consumer
is, however not really forced to save -- he has
the option to spend and pay the taxes that were
removed from his income -- one more element of
control added to our consumers, not taken from
them.
