Argentina
Maybe we can save Laura some trouble. Basic data on the
Argentine economy is available at:
http://www.mecon.ar/report/report21/index.htm
Where you'll find that recent inflation is very low,
though you get only a little data on relative prices.
If I can get to the more extensive published figures
I'll post them.
Current unemployment is 16%, down slightly from 17%
a year ago. Wages seem to be falling.
There is considerable discussion of the balance of
payments.
