Re: This year's model

     The rumor out of Sweden is that there is an effort
afoot to remove Assar Lindbeck from the committee.  But
he is resisting for obvious egomaniacal reasons.  I have
personally seen otherwise decent human beings acting like
abysmal toadies when in the presence of Nobel Committee
Members, and attempting to maximize such presence.  No names.
