Re: rough draft for changes at pkt
I'd like to third the notion that one of the main sources of delay in
getting the point of PKT postings is the relentless use of copied
messages. Most are hardly worth reading once much less three or four
times.
For messages posted on the list, I find leaders that start with personal
names a peculiar affliction, especially those that start with "John, . .
.. " My opinion is that if you want to write to someone or respond, then
do so, but if you want to post to the list, say something of merit on a
subject and we can read it. Why should the rest of us, who were
modestly raised not to read someone else's mail, continue past a,
"Charles, I find your . . . . ?????"
