Aprops of the following from Barkley Rosser:

    Escaped the latest posting by being off eating smoked reindeer
    meat in Sweden (shame on me!)).  Barkley Rosser


One of Barkley's colleagues at James Madison told me that Barkley had
come back from Scandavia glowing.  I hadn't realized he meant that
Barkley came back literally GLOWING!  Gee, Barkley, how ya' feeling?
