Re: rough draft for changes at pkt
Isn't it funny that quantitative restrictions are proposed for an
economists' list?
Althugh I rarely send more than 5 messages per week, I don't see any need
of restrictions. The last two weeks I was out of line, I received more
than 600 messages for each week. It seems too many, but if the "subject"
is maintained, I can filter what I don't want to read...
BTW, sometimes funny exchanges go by. I think this is an important part
of the list that will be the first to suffer from restrictions,
since everyone would try to "efficientize" the posts. Greetings, jokes
and things like that make this list something more than talking to the
screen-mirror...
I vote for a good manage of "subjects" instead of any restrictions. I
also would welcome some more thought before answering, this would reduce
posts better than external constraints or, What's the market for?
