Relax, mate! Ric's message didn't contain any "restrictions", only some modest
recommendations.  i think that the discussion so far has made us all
aware of some moderately conflicting - but not antagonistic - views,
and thus we may have these in mind when we write messages to PKT. Since
PKT is quite successful, I see no reason to contribute to a "crisis"
mood here. THERE IS NO BIG PROBLEM WITH PKT, quite the contrary.

(If, however, PKT editors some time later propose formal restrictions,
in the sense of a definite limit per week on the number of messages, or
even worse - moderation - I am against it. But they haven't done that,
as far as can read messages.)

Btw, if some participants think a specific person is too talkative,
impolite, or a specific message is beside the purpose of the list, why
not give said person (f.inst. Mr. Andresen ;-)  ) a hint through
private e-mail? Thus things may be solved smoothly, without flames and
locked-in prestige-driven fights on PKT (which again has been no
significant problem as far as I can remember during my 2.5 years of
list membership, but I have observed a lot of this on other lists).
