Re: Marx and Keynes on Unemployment
Eric Nilsson writes:
Would Marx have agreed that a rise in wages can lead to a
substitution of labor for capital?

He could. But my point was to argue about what is there and not what could be
there. I know there are people who would like to write books for Marx because
they do not find what they would like to find in Marx's writings. My position
is that I would rather write a book for myself than write one for Marx
or Ricardo or anybody else. That's too much of a responsibility to take.
