Is this the same Rubin who during his recent visit to India whined to the
Indian
government that a red carpet was being laid for Rafsanjani of Iran?
Well, Mr. Rubin for all his long-sightedness complained that if he were
informed early enough he whould have postponed his visit.  So what was
the US intelligence doing? (quipped Mr. Rafsanjani)  The Indian newpapers
made it clear that India
was no banana republic where Mr. Rubin got to decide India's friends!
