Manuscript Transmission
There is a relatively easy way to upload, transmit, and read papers that PKTers
want to put on the net. Adobe Acrobat 2.0 will transform any file into a
format that can be read or printed using their "reader" that is free software.
Unfortunately, the program itself, which is needed to convert the document, is
not free and costs approximately $140. Nevertheless, it solves the problem of
reading and printing received documents that have mathematical symbols and
Greek letters. The Acrobat reader is freeware that I can make available, or
one can download it from Compuserve (the right-wing information service).
