Re: survey
Dear Greg
There are only 3 questions A, B, and C, in subject survey.
I thought Hayek was A conservative, B activist, C scientist.
Possibly, he would say A conservative, B analyst, C moralist.
However, I did ask PKT'rs to rewrite or start from scratch, if
the questions did not make sufficient sense.
If you do rewrite non-binary questions -- and there is nothing
wrong with fuzzy logic -- make it logical to your own spec. And
send it to me. I'm ready to revise the survey for the fourth time.
Actually, however, you are not the problem. I have you pegged as
a Newt/Rush type. Am I wrong? It is others who are not "involved"
in current affairs that worry me.
I hope "Front Line" on PBS on Tuesday night, (I believe),
puts Rush and his zombies in their place -- and I know they will.
BTW, NBC has a new star in the fighting Bill Moyers. He is
making me feel good -- have been meaning to write him. He hit
Clinton and Newt right between the eyes on the Wall Street
angle that moved the unholy alliance, including Dole, to save
the peso for another day. I favor helping Mexico -- am not
sure I would have gone so far as to make oil payments pass
pass through the NY bank. But Moyers described a deal in
secret based on campaign financing past and future.
The next night Moyers blasted the balanced budget amendment
travesty against two centuries of better constitutional law.
Say what you like (not you, but some on the left) about NBC
being owned by General Electric: Moyers is a muckraker --
world class, so far in his new job, -- making Tom Brokaw
worth watching. There is something wonderfull about GE
telling the truth on Wall Street and its candidates.
Even when the truth may not be provable in court.
Hope you don't mind this is public. Your message remains
confidential, if non-controversial. And mine gets off a few
that you may deserve if Rush is not anathema to you.
My best recollection is you claim him as one of your own.
If my memory has failed, and you are a Moyer's man with me,
please accept my apologies.
Best John
