Dear W. Ebert,

I don't know anything about path dependency, ... But,  I could't overlook
that we might share common ancsestry?  Are you by any chance related
to that infamous (?) social democrat Frederick Ebert?  I am,  so the
legend goes ... but I don't know much about him except his dubious role
in the death of Rosa Luxumberg (turning a blind eye?, etc...) and his
(short-term) status of the first German "republic"....

Are you related? and if so (or even if not) do you know anything about
him?
