With all due respect, what does your diatribe have to do with the
questions posed by JMC on unit roots????

Dear L.,
I wondered that myself after rereading "unit roots" mail, but was
quickly able to justify it on the basis that my "diatribe" was
addressing the more abstract, fundamental question of methological
appropriateness, that is, the tools used for any analysis work to
"mold" both "inside" and "outside" the final results... I guess poor
S.O.R. in H.K. probably wouldn't be too concerned... but I am.
