Thank you for the post. This work of selected essays is on my list of
readings for my thesis. This is right up my alley and I detected in your
statements as much (why I asked for clarification). Also, Giddens has
discussed this anxiety (beginning with early trust issues in young
children's lifeworlds) and has posited the search for "ontological"
security later in life, i.e. to know what's real. My work is pulling
together several theoretical constructs, reconstructing and integrating
them into a general culture theory, to explain oppositional culture forms
(contracultures)... one for which I have already developed a grounded
theory viz-a-viz ethnography. ... at any rate. I appeciate you answering
my question. Very interesting. I will tap into these sources.... and any
others you may have on this subject???   :)
