Re: Efficiency

Although Herb Gintis calls for a biological analogy in our understanding of
efficiency, he knows very well that many biologists are beginning to question
the nature of natural selection.
If firms and institutions change more slowly than the environment, we can
get the equivalent of periodic mass extinctions.
