the "surplus world"

The surplus world need not be marxian, bill. The Sraffians and/or
neoRicardians have a "surplus" without surplus-value. See, e.g.,
Obrinsky, Mark. 1983. Profit Theory and Capitalism. Philadelphia: Uni-
versity of Pennsylvania Press. I like Marx's formulation, but it
isn't the only one.
