By the way, does Michael Jensen's "free cash flow" analysis fall under
the rent-seeking rubric? That is, is there such a thing as corporate
rent-seeking? And is the takeover market - "the liquid market for
corporate control," as they used to say back in the 1980s - an
appropriate and effective disciplinary mechanism?
