One of the interesting things about an evolutionary principle is that it is
not governed by maximization. Therefore, conservation principles are not
implicit in Darwinian theories.

I think however we have come to a natural end to this topic, and are not
saying much new. I will rest my case. The contributions of other participants on this point will make
very interesting reading in the pkt archives.
