I appreciate Randy Wray's publicizing of the Winter issue of the JPKE
which is devoted to a minimsymposium on "whether demand management is still
viable?" with contributions by both pro and con supporters.  (ME Sharpe
informs me that this issue will be mailed in early December 1994.) Hope-
fully fair-minded readers will obtain a good assessment of the argument with
members of the mainstream orthodoxy as participants as well as the heterodox!
       By the way, is there any other such POLICY topics,that members of the
net can suggest for future symposiums in the JPKE? (Another symposium
in the works is "Is An Independent Central Bank Necessary or Desireable?")
