Advertizers partly give information (e.g., my prices are lower than
your prices), and partly try to influence people to buy one brand over
another. The amount of product use itself is probably more dependent
on things other than advertizing.

	E.g., Coke and MacDonalds advertize like crazy, but people want
their products without the advertizing (fast food). That's why they
have no trouble expanding into new markets around the world.
