Paul,
I confess. I do think that at least from the standpoint of
convincing neoclassicals that "their emperor has no clothes", the
most effective way is to say, "let your emperor get dressed and
try to walk out in public using the methods you think he ought to
use", and then discover that their emperor is indeed stark naked.
