Re: Marshall and Pigou
Interesting questions, Ric. I addressed the methodological issues
regarding the influence of Marshall on Pigou versus Keynes in a piece
called "Interdependence and the Cambridge Economic Tradition" which
appeared in a book edited by Bill Gerrard and John Hillard, <The
Philosophy and Economics of J.M. Keynes> Elgar, 1992. Answers to the
appointment of Pigou question can probably be found in a piece by
Nahid Aslangeigui, which appeared in HOPE a year or so ago. I shall
forward you message to Nahid to get a response from her which I'll
forward to the PKT network. She's currently writing a biography of
Pigou. Roy
