EEA
For those of us who went to the Eastern Economic Assoc. meeting in Boston
this weekend you are probably still shaking off the dust from the trip.
But the conference and sessions I felt were very good and diverse. Going
through the program there were a lot of interesting and important issues
discussed. I think David Colander and others who worked with David did
an excellent job with the program. For those who did go to EEA it might
be interesting if you could sum up or tell us over pkt what went on in
your sessions. There's some sessions I'm particularly interested in knowing
what was discussed because of Aristotle's excluded middle where you can't
be at two places at the same time I missed. Barkley I'm so sorry I missed
meeting you but I was wondering if you could tell us what was discussed
in the sessions on "Issues in Post-Socialist Transitions" and "Macro
Dynamics, Coordination and Chaos." And Fred Moseley, again we missed each
other, if you could say something about the sessions on "The Role of Money in
Value/Price Theory" and "Issues in Value Theory" that would be great.
And there were many others on pkt who were at the Eastern and I'm sure
that all of us would appreciate hearing about your sessions and what was
discussed particularly for those who couldn't attend the conference.
