I grant you Bhopal. But ozone layer cannot be tied to
just capitalism, it's everybody. Whales are making a comeback
and one of their two worst overharvesters were the Soviets.
Fisheries are a problem, but public choice types would argue that
that is because they are in common property areas (actually
the issue is open access, not common property).
The worst air pollution in the world is in the "dirty
triangle"---where Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic intersect,
and no it did not happen in the "post-socialist" era.
