I should hope not. This lesson was learned long ago in the
biological literature, but of course still rears its head once in
a while (this is why Stephen Jay Gould has to repeat it over and over
again, no doubt).

We have more snow than I've ever seen, but it is so incredibly
beautiful that it is a continual source of enjoyment for me (also
exersize (sp?) --I've been going to the gym less lately!)
