To Herb Gintis:
     I presume you meant to say "of which multiple equilibria
is one" rather than "of which multiple equilibria is wrong" in
your last posting (and your IMO is not "humble"? tsk, tsk).  If
the former is what you meant, I fully agree.  And I did not mean
to denigrate evolutionary or self-organization approaches to
understanding economic dynamics.  I am a fan of them.  But that
does not mean that such outcomes are Pareto optimal, guarantee
full employment, or anything else along such lines.
