One of our students (a libertarian) went to the University
of Chicago grad school, despite my warnings. I warned him
that the atmosphere there was entirely too competitive (or
rather, social darwinist). As I had predicted, he dropped out
very quickly. I guess without youthful mistakes we wouldn't
be human...
